Job summary

Biodesix seeks contract phlebotomists to collect samples at patients' homes or workplaces via nasal swab or venipuncture. Virtual training provided. This is a contract position with payment remittance within 30 days of invoice.

Must have reliable transportation, gloves and disposal supplies, and access to smartphone/computer for orders and documentation. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
• A minimum of 1 full year of phlebotomy occurring within the last 3 calendar years.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills for client communication and issue reporting.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours.
• Prompt scheduling of appointments (1 to 3 days).
• Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, patient issues or draw complications.
• Specimen collection adhering to kit instructions precisely, to ensure accurate testing.
• Samples packed and shipped same day using FedEx shipping materials provided by company.
• Prompt invoicing of draws for payment.
