Job summary

Biodesix is seeking contract mobile phlebotomists to collect samples in patients' homes or workplaces via nasal swab or venipuncture for genomics/proteomics-based tests. Training is provided remotely, and kits with all supplies are supplied by the company. Reliable transportation is required to collect at patient sites.

The role is contract-based with payment issued within 30 days of invoice; COVID-19 vaccination is required or a reasonable accommodation may be requested from Human Resources.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills, including venipuncture.
• Professional verbal and written communication for client interaction and issue reporting.
• Ability to strictly follow procedures and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours.
• Schedule appointments promptly (1–3 days).
• Communicate with the office regarding scheduling or draw issues.
• Perform specimen collection following kit instructions to ensure accurate testing.
• Pack and ship samples same-day using provided FedEx materials.
• Bill draws promptly for payment.
