Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in North Carolina as a mental health professional.
• Experience with adults who have severe mental illness (SMI/SPMI).
• Minimum of two years of work with individuals with SMI.
• Management experience and supervisory experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and track referrals from individuals, families, hospitals, providers, and community agencies.
• Gather demographic, clinical, and referral information; identify missing records and follow up.
• Conduct preliminary clinical screening and involve appropriate staff for urgent concerns.
• Coordinate clinical review of eligibility, program fit, and admission criteria; communicate decisions.
