The Intake Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for individuals seeking mental health services and coordinates referrals from initial inquiry through admission or referral to another provider. This licensed mental health professional reviews clinical and eligibility information, coordinates with clinical and administrative staff, and helps individuals gain timely access to appropriate services while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish rapport, manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, identify urgent needs, and work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
