Job summary

Smartlyio is seeking an Event Operations Manager (Contract) to optimize end-to-end event technology, registrations, and operational foundations for a global program.

In this role you’ll also support smaller community events and sponsor activities, while partnering with Marketing, Finance, Revenue, and Production to ensure consistency across touchpoints.

3-month contract, ~30 hours/week, with a focus on building scalable systems and data-driven processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in event operations, marketing operations, or commercial event production.
• Hands-on expertise managing modern event registration systems and tech stacks.
• Strong operational mindset with meticulous attention to data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage event technology and registration systems to ensure smooth attendee flows.
• Oversee attendee data management, segmentation, and reporting for accuracy.
• Collaborate across Marketing, Finance, Revenue, and Production to align operations.
• Assist with budget tracking, vendor vetting, sourcing, and on-site execution.
• Maintain complex timelines and deliver high-impact programs with senior guidance.
