Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a court reporter
• Proficient with stenography, voice, or digital capture
• Excellent English and communication skills
• Ability to pass security screening
• Strong problem-solving and organization
• Reliable, punctual and deadline-driven
• Own equipment required; no training provided
• NCRA/AAERT/NVRA certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Take down proceedings using machine shorthand, voice, or digital capture
• Capture verbatim proceedings in courts, meetings, depositions, hearings
• Administer oaths and participate in depositions and hearings
• Set up and operate equipment to capture the record
• Prepare for assignments with case review and hardware checks
• Back up files and upload worksheets at close of proceeding
• Maintain reports and logs and respond promptly to communications
• Represent Neal R. Gross & Co. professionally
• Interact with federal/state government and private clients
