Job summary

Actalent in Morristown, TN seeks a Controls Engineer to support the e-compressor line. You will troubleshoot equipment, modify PLC programs, and focus on individual cells rather than whole lines to optimize output for automotive customers.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities for overtime, collaborating with a team to ensure smooth line operation and integration of PLC/HMI and robotic systems on new cell implementations.

Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting and programming with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Experience with HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
• Robotic experience and programming.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support for smaller scale projects and line optimization.
• Troubleshoot equipment and modify existing PLC programs.
• Work on individual cells within the e-compressor production line.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of the line.
