The position requires processing payroll twice per week, maintaining records, and performing GL reconciliations. Onsite work in San Diego is expected, with potential extension or conversion.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting both payroll processing and general accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliations.
• Experience with certified payroll compliance.
• Experience using Miter Payroll software.
• Experience using Procore Construction Management software.
• Previous accounting or payroll experience within the construction industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll twice per week accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain employee payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with certified payroll requirements.
• Prepare and complete general ledger reconciliations.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support month-end close and other general accounting activities.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure payroll and accounting information is accurate and complete.
• Assist with additional payroll, accounting and reporting needs as assigned.
