Smith College is seeking a HR Compensation Consultant for a fixed-term assignment from January 4, 2027, to June 30, 2027, in Human Resources. The role will independently prioritize and implement compensation tasks with latitude for judgment, including evaluation of positions and salary range setting.

You will collaborate with HR Partners and managers, ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, and support the Workday Advanced Compensation module for the FY2028 salary planning cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in compensation or related HR role.
• Knowledge of federal and state compensation laws.

Responsabilités

• Consult with managers on the evaluation of new/modified positions.
• Develop salary ranges and profiles based on Smith’s framework.
• Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
• Create/update position information in Workday.
• Provide data-driven offer guidance with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers.
• Support annual benchmarking and salary planning activities.
