This contract role places a Certified Nursing Assistant in a long-term care facility near Montevideo, Minnesota for an 8-week assignment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and skilled patient care in a long-term care facility, ensuring residents' comfort and safety
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Document patient status, care provided, and any changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification
- CNA license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting
- Ability to wear scrubs and solid shoes, strong communication skills, reliable transportation, and physical ability to perform 12-hour shifts
