Job summary

Alcanza is a growing multi-site clinical research company with a broad network across multiple states, including Florida. The Data Entry Coordinator will ensure accurate entry of visit data into EDC and other data systems, in compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and SOPs.

The role reports to Daniel Dore in Operations and requires at least 1 year of clinical data entry experience, strong typing skills, and meticulous data handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1 year of clinical data entry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and web apps; 40+ wpm typing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive information per HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient data into EDC and other software systems used in clinical trials.
• Review patient charts to ensure timely data entry per eCRF guidelines and protocol requirements.
• Report irregularities or problems with a study to appropriate parties.
• Support other clinical research-related activities as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients and company information per SOPs and HIPAA.
