Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Program Director to lead the CDL program, drive curriculum development, and oversee Driver Trainers. The role includes student advising, cohort management, and program evaluation across multiple cohorts.

The position is a 10-month assignment with potential travel to other locations, and involves coordination with Ancora Training contracted staff to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• CDL license required.
• 2 years driving experience with CDL.
• 5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
• 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of federal FMCSA/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the CDL program and participate in curriculum development and implementation.
• Hire, orient, and develop Driver Trainers within the CDL program.
• Monitor trainee progress and advise students during the provisional period.
• Lead weekly meetings with Driver Trainers and maintain program records.
• Ensure quality curriculum, instructional materials, and facilities are up to date.
• Perform duties of a Driver Trainer as needed.
• Collaborate across departments to coordinate program activities.
