Job summary

Westbrook School Department is seeking a Contracted Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on an as-needed basis to work with our PRE K-K team, supporting students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges.

The BCBA will conduct assessments, design customized intervention plans, train staff on behavior strategies, and track student progress to ensure plans are effective across classrooms and staff teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and BCBA certification are required.
• CHRC credential is desirable.
• Experience in academic settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify why challenging behaviors occur.
• Create customized, evidence-based intervention plans to promote positive replacement behaviors.
• Train teachers, aides, and school staff on behavior strategies in classrooms.
• Track and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
