Job summary

Windsor Locks Public Schools seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with autism and behavioral challenges. The BCBA coordinates ABA services, conducts analyses, and develops behavior support plans district‑wide.

Responsibilities include collaborating with teachers, families, and community partners; data collection; training staff; and ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required.
• Master's degree required.
• 1–3 years of school-based experience with autism/behavior challenges.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide ABA services and behavior analyses.
• Oversee programming and documentation for Behavior Support Plans.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and agencies in coordinating ESE services.
• Administer programs for behaviorally or emotionally disturbed students.
• Assist in developing interventions and functional behavior assessments.
• Collect and summarize behavioral data and complete reporting requirements.
• Conduct trainings on classroom management techniques and behavioral strategies.
• Coach teams in functional behavior assessments and crisis plans.
• Participate in IEP development and related meetings.
