Job summary

Parris Law Firm seeks a Contract Attorney to support wage and hour class action practice. This remote, part-time role focuses on complex litigation and plaintiff-side advocacy.

The attorney will draft and respond to discovery, conduct legal research, help draft complaints and motions, review payroll records, and assist with deposition and settlement preparation. California Bar licensed required; 2+ years in wage and hour class actions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in wage and hour class actions.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Law school journal experience preferred (from ad text?)

Contract Attorney (Class Actions and Employment)

Seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to support our wage and hour class action practice. This is a remote, part-time opportunity ideal for an attorney who thrives in complex litigation and enjoys meaningful, plaintiff-side advocacy.

The Contract Attorney will assist with prosecuting wage and hour class and representative actions, including matters involving unpaid wages, meal and rest period violations, misclassification, and related California Labor Code and PAGA claims. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a dynamic litigation team.

• Review and analyze payroll, timekeeping, and employment records

• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
• Strong understanding of California Labor Code, IWC Wage Orders, and PAGA
• Excellent legal writing and research skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
