Job summary

Confidential Employer in Sacramento, CA, seeks an experienced wage and hour litigation attorney to defend employers in complex class actions and PAGA matters, with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will take a meaningful role in case strategy, conduct sophisticated research, draft pleadings, and coordinate with colleagues to deliver high-quality counsel. California Bar license and 5+ years of wage-and-hour experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license.
• 5+ years wage and hour litigation experience.
• Significant wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA experience.
• JD from ABA‑accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in complex wage and hour class action and PAGA litigation.
• Take a meaningful role in case strategy, litigation planning, and advanced legal matters.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis involving wage and hour issues.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other critical litigation documents.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal professionals on complex class and PAGA matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
• Manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities in a fast‑paced litigation environment.
• Help develop practical, creative legal strategies that advance client objectives.
