The ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting (AP/AR), solid ERP/Excel skills, and a degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years of accounting, AP/AR, or related finance support experience.
Experience in distribution, logistics, wholesale, or high-transaction environments preferred.
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable: invoice entry, coding, three-way matching, vendor payments.
Prepare customer invoices, apply cash receipts, and follow up on past-due balances (AR).
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts; resolve discrepancies.
Assist with month-end close: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals.
Maintain records in ERP/accounting system.
Review employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
Respond to inquiries on billing and payment status.
Assist with audit prep, sales tax support, and ad hoc projects.
