Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL seeks a Continuous Improvement Supervisor for the Corn Plant. This full-time exempt role leads training execution, analyzes losses, and drives process improvement projects within the Alcohol Department.

You will develop training materials, coach trainees, run OEE/TEEP analyses, and steer cross-functional teams to close gaps, enhance safety, and improve department performance daily. The role requires strong TPS/PSM background and experience with value stream mapping.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in an ADM operating facility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across functions.
• Strong root cause analysis experience.
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping and finding efficiencies in process.
• Strong Performance Excellence background and TPS/PSM knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, PiVision).

Responsibilities

• Train and monitor progress of trainees, auditing timelines and performance.
• Develop and update training materials based on gaps identified.
• Conduct coaching sessions and remediation plans for trainees.
• Lead qualification walk-throughs and track sign-offs.
• Provide bi-weekly trainee progress reports and status updates.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and support KPI tracking and standard work.
• Review department losses, perform OEE/TEEP analyses, and present findings.
• Collaborate with deployment owners to manage Alcohol Deployment Plan status.
• Support safety culture and ensure compliance with GMP and PSM requirements.
