global headquarters location. Ideal candidates are engineering students (bachelor’s or pursuing a master’s) with an interest in Continuous Improvement and the ability to commute to Jeannette, PA, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (supply chain, business, or organizational leadership also considered).
  • Preferred candidate pursues an Engineering Master’s Degree; eagerness for Continuous Improvement careers.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze organizational goals to scope and communicate continuous improvement projects aligning execution with strategic priorities like On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  • Evaluate manufacturing and transactional workflows using root-cause analysis to identify gaps, run improvement experiments, measure success, and standardize processes.
  • Observe, provide feedback, and contribute to internal continuous improvement training; design and facilitate interactive learning sessions for stakeholders.
  • Document outcomes and lessons learned to refine future workflows through structured performance evaluations.

## Continuous Improvement InternApply: Jeannette, PA: Full time: Posted Today: R3967**Overview & Responsibilities****2027 Continuous Improvement Intern Overview** This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals in our U.S. global headquarters location in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive “hands-on\" experience in the Continuous Improvement department in the rotating equipment industry.At EEE, we design, build, refurbish and re-engineer products used by some of the largest companies in the world. EEE manufactures steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, cryogenic pumps and expanders, power recovery expanders and gas expanders for use in energy markets worldwide.**All internships will consist of the following elements:*** Individual projects to own and complete for real world hands-on experience;* Team project and activities designed to demonstrate cooperation;* Exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of EEE leadership including participation in company and customer meetings and job shadowing.**The Continuous Improvement Intern will lead the following projects:*** Analyze organizational goals to help scope and communicate continuous improvement projects that align daily execution with strategic priorities like On-Time Delivery (OTD).* Evaluate manufacturing and transactional workflows using structured root-cause analysis tools to identify operational gaps, execute improvement experiments using continuous improvement tools, measure and communicate success, create meaningful standards, and drive progress toward target states.* Observe, feedback, and contribute to internal continuous improvement training. Learning strategies to design and facilitate interactive, effective learning sessions for stakeholders.* Document project outcomes, action lessons learned to refine future workflows, and gain real-world experience through structured performance evaluations and reviews.**Preferred candidate**: Major in Engineering (Supply Chain, Business, or Organizational Leadership majors also considered), completing a minimum of their junior year of a Bachelor’s Degree. Full-time students pursuing an Engineering Master’s Degree are encouraged to apply. An interest in a Continuous Improvement career is beneficial.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.This internship will be based at the EEE headquarters in Jeannette, PA. Candidates must be able to commute to our Jeannette, PA headquarters Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for twelve weeks.
