Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an SPX CIX Engineer in Chesterfield, MI to lead site transformation through Lean methods. You will drive continuous improvement, coach operations teams, and manage cross-functional projects across North America.

Expect a high-exposure role promoting learning and performance improvements. The role requires a BS in Engineering (Industrial Eng preferred), 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years CI, and strong data/IT collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Industrial Eng preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing operations experience.
• 2+ years of Continuous Improvement experience.
• Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience in a matrix organization with multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement and site transformation initiatives.
• Develop workstream charters, detailed plans and KPIs.
• Review operational data and implement corrective actions.
• Lead Kaizen events and Gemba walks to solve problems.
• Coach shop-floor personnel in lean methods and new ways of working.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to meet launch deadlines.
• Prepare cost justifications for capital expenditures.
