Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Continuous Improvement Intern to enhance manufacturing processes through Lean methodologies and cross-functional collaboration on the plant floor in Missouri. The role focuses on analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements to boost productivity.

You will engage in time studies, standardize work procedures, and participate in Kaizen events, gaining hands-on experience across cross-functional teams and project leadership

Qualifications

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management and multitasking.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, and Process Management.
• Currently pursuing an Engineering degree (preferred focus on process or industrial engineering).

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies for assembly lines and other processes.
• Develop standardized work procedures for assembly lines.
• Identify waste within manufacturing processes and assist problem-solving initiatives.
• Actively participate in structured Kaizen events.
• Gain experience overseeing cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
