Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to stabilize and advance manufacturing processes. You will lead cross‑functional initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and GMP to design standardized systems, improve cost, quality, and delivery, and embed Toyota Production System principles across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required and certifications preferred.
• Experience with GMP and structured quality systems (ISO/ASQ) is a plus.
• Familiar with Lean Six Sigma and problem-solving methodologies (A3, 5-Why).
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings and specs.
• Proven track record in process development and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead value stream mapping, time studies, and Kaizen events to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.
• Develop and implement standardized processes and documentation (Standard Work, PFDs, PFMEA, Control Plans).
• Apply problem-solving methodologies to diagnose root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Support New Product Introduction by ensuring process readiness and validation.
• Design and execute testing and validation plans, including gauge studies and statistical analysis.
• Monitor performance with data-driven management and sustain gains across operations.
• Develop training systems and documentation to build workforce capability and standardization.
• Support capital investments with AFE documentation to justify enhancements.
• Conduct operational audits and lead follow-up actions for quality improvements.
• Incorporate voice of the customer insights into improvement initiatives and value delivery.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to embed Toyota Production System principles.
