Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop and implement advanced processes and equipment. You will work to optimize material flow, lead Lean/TPS improvement projects and support capital projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include a BS in engineering, 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Project. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and growth opportunities abound in a results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Toyota Production System, quality systems & lean concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Windows & MS Office; AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop & implement innovative manufacturing processes & equipment.
• Develop & maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans & work instructions.
• Conduct time studies & line balancing; optimize material flow & plant layout.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians & production staff to optimize operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean & TPS tools.
• Provide technical support for operational improvement initiatives.
• Set up, verify & troubleshoot tools, machines & processes; track asset downtime.
• Support spare parts program & reliability KPI improvements.
• Serve as single point of accountability for capital projects.
• Support new product launches & equipment installations.
