Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for our automotive client in Russell Springs, KY. This on-site, permanent role focuses on leading Lean initiatives to improve plant performance and drive cost reductions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automotive manufacturing, experience with Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, 8D/Fishbone/5 Whys RCA, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within automotive manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt preferred).
• Experience with Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED.
• Familiar with RCA techniques (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys), APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, IATF 16949.
