Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer at its Morristown, TN facility to lead process improvements and mentor teams.

The role requires 5+ years in CI, Six Sigma Black Belt preferred, and strong data skills with Minitab; you will drive value-stream mapping, standard work and line balance initiatives while working with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Continuous Process Improvement with proven results.
• Experience mentoring teams using CI tools (VSM, Kaizen, Standard Work, 3S, Kanban, line balance).
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Minitab.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience leading CI events and working with little supervision.

Job Details

• BSIE or BS and equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in Continuous Process Improvement with demonstrated success.
• Experience and capability to mentor others utilizing continuous improvement tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, Standard Work, 3S, Pull Systems, 1 piece flow, 8 types of waste, kanban implementation, line balance, OEE, SMED, brainstorming).
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and statistical software packages such as Minitab.
• Technical experience and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leading continuous improvement events.
• Work independent with little or no supervision.
• Experience in statistical and mathematical analysis.
