Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Entry Level Quality Engineer in Morristown, TN. You will work under supervision to support corrective actions, improve supplier quality, and apply root cause analysis techniques.

A BS in Engineering and blueprint-reading skills are preferred as you grow into more complex quality initiatives. The role emphasizes hands-on manufacturing understanding, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with the Corrective Action process (8D).
• Lead and support quality improvement projects with suppliers to reduce PPM, warranty claims, and production rejects.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis tools, such as 5 Whys and Ishikawa diagrams.
• ISO 9001 or IAT16949 audit experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support quality improvement projects with suppliers to reduce PPM, warranty claims, and production rejects.
• Utilize 5 Whys and Ishikawa diagrams for root cause analysis.
• Maintain and apply ISO 9001 or IAT16949 audit standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints; understand manufacturing processes.
• Support corrective actions and process improvements across operations.
