Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • ERP experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated process control, project management, and statistical analysis expertise.
  • Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement tools.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze process trials and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
  • Support quality investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead projects focused on reducing costs, improving yields, and optimizing manufacturing performance.
  • Train production personnel on new processes and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
