Job summary

SERVPRO of Chesterfield, Richmond, Chesapeake, and Hampton is hiring a Contents Crew Chief at our Chantilly Office. You will coordinate production activities, monitor quality, supervise contents technicians, and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in restoration, preferably contents cleaning.
• IICRC certification a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled with quality control.
• Manage customer and client experience and overall satisfaction through the project process.
• Communicate clear expectations to contents technicians and supervise their activities.
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.
• Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects.
• Communicate with contents project manager and office staff on project progress and issues.
• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety.
• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.
• Coach and train restoration technicians.

As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Contents Crew Chief demonstrates the company’s Here to Help® commitment to customers and clients. Key Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license


• High school diploma/GED (preferred)


• At least 1 year of experience in restoration, preferably contents cleaning


• IICRC certification a plus, not required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance


• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)


• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects


• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Compensation

The salary range listed reflects the total target annual compensation for this position, which includes both base salary and commission opportunities. Individual earnings will vary based on performance, commission achievement, and other applicable factors.
