Job summary

SERVPRO of Chesterfield, Richmond, Chesapeake, and Hampton is seeking a Contents Crew Chief for our Chantilly Office to coordinate restoration projects and oversee contents crews.

The role emphasizes safety, quality control, customer satisfaction, and efficient site operations, with compensation including base salary and earning potential through commissions; OSHA compliance is required and IICRC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma/GED (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in restoration, preferably contents cleaning.
• IICRC certification a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction through the project process.
• Communicate clear expectations to content technicians and supervise their activities.
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.
• Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects.
• Communicate with contents project manager and office staff on project progress and issues.
• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety.
• Coach and train restoration technicians.

As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Contents Crew Chief demonstrates the company’s Here to Help® commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities

• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly
• Coach and train restoration technicians

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in restoration, preferably contents cleaning
• IICRC certification a plus, not required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

The salary range listed reflects the total target annual compensation for this position, which includes both base salary and commission opportunities. Individual earnings will vary based on performance, commission achievement, and other applicable factors.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
