Job summary

Meta seeks a Content Policy Manager to shape actor, behavior and platform integrity across accounts, pages, groups and products. You will collaborate with Product, Global Operations, Legal, Communications and Public Policy to define policies, governance and escalation processes for AI-driven content moderation.

You will own policy counseling for enforcement at actor level, assess impacts on free expression and safety, and drive clear recommendations under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, law, political science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in content policy, trust and safety, platform integrity, or related area.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams to deliver impact without direct authority.
• Track record of high-judgment decisions, with the judgment to know when to elevate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with potentially sensitive or objectionable topics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering to assess policy risks in launches, tests, and product changes — defining safeguards, flagging tradeoffs, and clarifying escalation paths before features reach users
• Own policy counseling for actor-level enforcement, assessing impacts on free expression, safety, and enforcement precision — ensuring risks are surfaced early with clear guidance for operations and integrity teams
• Shape governance and policy frameworks for AI-driven content moderation to ensure defensibility and accuracy at scale
• Establish and refine processes for cross-functional approvals and leadership review — preparing clear recommendations, quantifying impact, and accelerating alignment on high-stakes decisions
• Support escalation coverage and on-call rotation, making rapid, defensible policy decisions under time pressure
• Contribute to election readiness and crisis response efforts, coordinating with integrity and legal teams as needed
