Meta is seeking a Public Affairs AI Communications Manager to lead the proactive AI narrative and engagement strategy. You will craft audience-focused messages, develop proof points rooted in product and research, and shape how Meta shows up across markets.

You will work across communications, policy, research, and legal to land strategic objectives, balancing proactive storytelling with rapid response and delivering measurable campaign outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in public affairs, strategic communications, political campaigns, government relations, or policy communications.
• Shaping how audiences understand complex technology or policy and translating narrative to campaign outcomes.
• Experience with journalists, creators, senior executives, government officials, and other high-profile stakeholders.
• Coordination across Communications, Policy, Legal, Marketing to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams at campaign speed with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to draft op-eds, executive remarks, and briefing materials for VIP audiences.
• Sound judgment, collaboration, and team-oriented approach in high-stakes situations.

Responsibilities

• Own proactive communications and narrative strategy within Meta's AI public affairs campaign.
• Develop audience-specific messages, proactive stories, pitches, op-eds, and talking points.
• Set engagement architecture: where to show up, who leads, and what success looks like.
• Build and run earned-media strategies across journalists, creators, and media outlets.
• Prepare senior leaders for engagements with crisp framing and anticipated questions.
• Identify AI landscape moments and deploy timely, high-value communications.
• Build feedback loops to refine approach based on stakeholder insight and policy shifts.
• Create repeatable message toolkits for scalable senior-stakeholder communications.
