Job summary

Revel IT seeks a Content Operations Support contractor in Columbus, OH to handle general office procedures, electronic input, and editing, while researching and determining information for various document types. You will work under supervision and collaborate with internal customers across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently to perform routine assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with computers. Proficient with video conferencing, instant messaging, email, calendar scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets, and document sharing software.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
• Aptitude and interest for learning and using various web-based and/or proprietary computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all data and information output of Content Operations is in a computer-readable form.
• Ensure data for users is consistent, accurate, and published within currency and quality standards.
• Task lists provided by Management; cross-training may occur.
• Perform scanning, wanding, light repairs, and sorting. Initial data entry, pagination, resolving warnings and errors. Supports daily production check-ins.
• Perform initial bib/abstract data entry for documents.
• Investigate and correct errors. Perform audits of documents or processes as needed.
• Monitor and prioritize production work to meet currency and schedules.
• Assist and collaborate with other content acquisition operations affecting production and client database building.
