Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Marketing Specialist in Washington, DC for a 3-5 month contract with a hybrid schedule (4 days on site).

You will lead newsletter production and develop compelling digital content in collaboration with internal stakeholders. The role requires sharp writing and editing abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in marketing or communications, with emphasis on content creation such as newsletters.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, relevant experience may compensate.

Responsibilities

• Lead newsletter production from content gathering to final publication.
• Develop compelling digital content and support broader communications projects with internal stakeholders.
• Draft and edit 1–2 news pieces weekly, with relevant research summaries.
• Research member activity for potential features and coordinate with section leads.
• Edit contributions for AP style and brand voice; ensure accuracy through online research.
• Provide content support across other communications initiatives as needed.
