Museum of Fine Arts Boston seeks a Content Manager to lead content development across the MFA’s website, email, social channels, print materials, advertising, on-site signage, and multimedia tours.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Communications, you will manage exhibition pages, production schedules, and editorial standards while collaborating with multiple teams to deliver consistent, brand-aligned messaging.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of communications experience with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of style, spelling, grammar, and punctuation; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and fact check copy for web, email, social media, print materials, campaigns, and on-site signage.
  • Manage MFA.org pages and production schedules, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain schedules and assets.
  • Create engaging content for MFA social channels; write copy and film/edit video content on iPhone using apps like Instagram Edits and CapCut.
  • Respond to editing, copywriting, and PM requests as needed.
  • Coordinate with IP department to generate art credits for communications.
