Job summary

Basis seeks a writing-focused content lead to own the written material across our marketing and sales assets. You will interview accountants and finance leaders, turning conversations into compelling case studies and content that drives visibility in AI answers and search.

You will focus on GEO-driven content, optimize for LinkedIn and X, and craft materials that scale from zero to proven pipeline. Expect a fast-moving, AI-assisted environment with diverse formats.

Qualifications

• Strong writing ability with research and angle finding.
• Growth mindset focusing on audience, distribution and compounding returns.
• Understanding of how content earns visibility and citations in AI assistants and search.
• Comfort interviewing customers and turning conversations into specific stories.
• Ability to adapt writing style for sophisticated, skeptical audiences.
• Sharp understanding of what lands on LinkedIn and X and which formats work.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude/Codex) and integrating them into output.
• Ability to build assets end-to-end without waiting for design assistance.
• Experience building content-function processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own the written content across Basis's materials, with LinkedIn and X focus.
• Turn customer conversations into compelling case studies used in sales.
• Research and structure content so it earns visibility in AI answers and search.
• Lead GEO-driven content research and distribution planning.
• Contribute to marketing motions from zero to one for the sales team and pipeline.
• Experiment with newsletters, podcasts, and new formats at scale.
