Job summary

Basis is seeking a content writer to own the written side of all materials, with a focus on accountants and finance leaders. You will interview customers, build case studies, and craft content for LinkedIn and X, while shaping how content earns visibility in AI and search.

You will also help build marketing motions for a fast-moving GTM team, creating assets that generate pipeline. You’ll work with AI tools and produce assets end to end, without waiting for designers.

Qualifications

• Must be an exceptional writer with ability to research topics quickly and maintain craft.
• Able to think in audience, distribution, and multipliers for impact.
• Understanding how content earns visibility in AI assistants and search.
• Comfort interviewing customers and turning conversations into concrete stories.
• Able to adapt tone for sophisticated audiences and various channels.
• Strong social instincts for LinkedIn and X content performance.
• Proficient with AI tools and integrating prompts into output.

Responsibilities

• Own the written content across Basis' output, including case studies and assets.
• Lead interviews with accountants and finance leaders to build proof-driven narratives.
• Publish and optimize content for LinkedIn and X, with future channel expansion.
• Plan research, structure content for AI answers, and define distribution tactics.
• Collaborate with sales to build content that generates pipeline and revenue.
• Ship assets end-to-end without waiting on designers.
