Job summary

CASCADA Thermal Springs Spa and Hotel in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Content Creator and Social Storyteller. You’ll own the camera, edit reels, and build a calendar of on-site stories that showcase steam, soaks, spa rituals, and guest moments.

This hands-on role is on‑property work requiring creativity, reliability, and a sharp eye for trends across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You’ll partner with marketing/PR to capture authentic experiences and bring the CASCADA brand to life.

Qualifications

• Based in Portland or willing to relocate to Portland.
• 3+ years creating social content for a brand with 25K+ followers across platforms.
• Strong photo and video shooting and editing chops; Adobe Premiere/Lightroom preferred.
• Familiar with scheduling tools like Later, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
• Solid copywriting instincts and a clear voice in content.
• Great storytelling sense and brand alignment awareness.
• Organized to manage a content calendar, shoot schedule, and events.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit original photo, video, reels, and story content on property, regularly.
• Build and run our social content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
• Keep posts on brand, visually and tonally consistent with trends on each platform.
• Embed with spa, fitness, culinary, and hospitality teams to tell meaningful stories.
• Co-lead ambassador and creator relationships and coordinate collaborative campaigns.
• Write captions with personality and engage with DMs and comments.
• Track performance and adjust content strategy over time.
• Bring content to key campaigns, launches, partnerships, and announcements.
• Be on the ground at events to capture content and manage guest experience.
• Repurpose event footage for social channels.
• Collaborate with marketing/PR to bring campaigns to life.
• Contribute to post-event and post-campaign performance reporting.
