Job summary

Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA seeks a Social Media & Content Manager to bring the brand to life across social platforms, the resort website, and digital channels. This in-person, on-property role focuses on storytelling, content creation, and guest engagement to support revenue goals.

You will write captions, shoot and edit content, manage a content calendar, and monitor brand sentiment while collaborating with Marketing, PR, Design, and Operations for year-round experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, or related field.
• Experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand or organization.
• Strong photography, short-form video, editing, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
• Experience responding to guest comments, direct messages, and online reviews.
• Experience working within a website content management system.
• Working knowledge of social media analytics, Google Business Profile, SEO fundamentals, and digital reporting.
• Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies that support Camelback Resort’s brand, campaigns, events, promotions, and revenue goals.
• Create, capture, edit, and publish engaging photo, video, and written content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
• Maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar reflecting seasonal priorities and initiatives.
• Write creative, accurate, and brand-aligned captions, stories, scripts, promotional copy, and other digital content.
• Monitor trends and opportunities to identify new content angles.
• Attend resort events and capture real-time content.
• Collaborate with departments to highlight lodging, skiing, waterparks, dining, retail, events, and associates.
• Coordinate influencer and user-generated content opportunities as needed.
• Ensure content follows brand standards, voice, and visual identity.
• Monitor and respond to social media inquiries and Google reviews professionally.
