Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking a Content Specialist to capture and produce photo/video content from our resort experiences for use across digital channels. You will contribute to strategic planning, content production, posting, and community management to promote the brand.

The role requires strong storytelling/copywriting, visual sense, and the ability to coordinate shoots with photographers/models while traveling between Mount Sunapee and Crotched Mountain. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Journalism or Marketing.
• Strong storytelling and copywriting skills.
• An eye for visual design and the ability to independently capture photo/video assets.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
• Experience with Sprout Social or similar tools is a plus.
• Proficiency with GoPro and mobile video editing apps.
• Fluency in English and able to communicate in a brand voice.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Create multimedia content and assets for social media, digital channels, website and PR.
• Apply storytelling to bring the resort brand to life across platforms.
• Lead social content ideation, production, posting, and community management.
• Plan, shoot, edit, and publish multimedia content under tight deadlines.
• Maintain a content calendar and coordinate shoots with contracted photographers/models.
• Assist with larger resort brand photo/video shoots and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with the resort communications team to ensure brand-aligned messaging.
• Manage asset organization and distribution across channels.
• Support additional PR content needs and resort events coverage.
