Job summary

Westport Library is seeking a Content & Communications Associate in Westport, CT to turn programs and community moments into content that readers engage with—emails, pages that convert, and stories that demonstrate why libraries matter.

You will own the email program, event landing pages and SEO, and story-driven media, leveraging ActiveCampaign and WordPress to reach diverse audiences. A background in nonprofit communications and strong organizational skills are important.

Qualifications

• Proven copywriting and email/digital marketing experience.
• Hands-on ActiveCampaign and WordPress chops.
• SEO knowledge and a data-driven approach to writing.
• Excellent organizational ability to run a ~30 event/month pipeline without missing a beat.

Responsibilities

• Manage email program including the newsletter and biweekly blasts.
• Develop event landing pages and SEO in WordPress with UTMs and GA data.
• Create story-driven media including event features and press outreach.
