Job summary

Leland is seeking a Content & Creative Lead in Lehi, Utah to build and lead the content engine across blogs, webinars, newsletters, and social. You'll own editorial strategy, oversee visuals, and set the tone for campaigns while building a small team and working hands-on with design and AI tools.

You'll guide brand and creative across channels, partner with marketing, drive SEO-aware content, and mentor a rising team member as the function grows into a full content org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content, brand, or creative, incl. building a content program at a startup or high-growth company.
• Excellent writer/editor with strong opinions on quality.
• Real design sense; hands-on skills in tools like Figma, Canva, Claude Design.
• Portfolio showing editorial and creative work.
• Solid SEO fundamentals; understanding AI-driven discoverability.
• AI-native: uses Claude, Midjourney daily with workflow automation.
• Organized and systems-minded; enjoys building the machine as well as the work.
• Experience mentoring at least one person.
• Bonus: video production, PR or media relations.

Responsibilities

• Set content strategy and editorial calendar across blog, newsletters, webinars, and social.
• Implement processes and AI workflows for consistent publishing.
• Build with SEO and AI search in mind to improve visibility.
• Measure traffic, engagement, and influence on pipeline and bookings.
• Collaborate with marketing and design on web visuals and messaging.
