The role involves receiving, screening, unloading, treating, and tracking waste streams and residuals with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts, use handheld scanners, and maintain precise records while following company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to use light equipment such as forklift and pallet-jack.
• Basic computer operations needed to operate handheld scanners.
• Skilled with hand and shop tools, with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, stay focused and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, signs, and processes incoming manifests; notes discrepancies.
• Directs off-loading for receipt of containers into storage systems.
• Uses handheld barcode scanner for inventory and recordkeeping.
• Operates forklift to handle non-bulk containerized wastes.
• Collects and analyzes waste samples.
• Stores waste containers in designated plant areas.
• Assists in generating internal bar code labels and labeling containers.
