Job summary

Republic Services in Beatty, NV is seeking a Processing Technician to ensure safe and effective treatment and handling of containerized wastes. You will receive, screen, unload, treat, and track waste streams while using a handheld barcode scanner and forklift to move non-bulk containers.

This role requires basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate light equipment including forklift and pallet-jack.
• Basic computer skills to operate handheld scanners.
• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming manifests and direct off-loading operations for receipt of containerized wastes.
• Use handheld barcode scanner to track containers and ensure accurate inventory.
• Perform forklift operations to move non-bulk containerized wastes.
• Collect and analyze waste samples.
• Store waste containers properly in designated storage areas.
• Assist in labeling containers with internal barcodes.
