Job summary

WM is seeking a hands-on manager to oversee the container shop’s day-to-day operations in an on-site setting in New York. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and ensure the fleet assets are safe, presentable, and available to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include enforcing WM’s safety standards, coordinating with other managers to optimize operations, and guiding staff through training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required: 5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day container shop operations, including staffing and scheduling.
• Ensures containers are in good repair and presentable to reflect WM’s image.
• Monitors inventory to meet customer demand and maintains supply levels.
• Ensures adherence to WM's safety and regulatory standards.
• Manages reporting and coordinates with other managers for cost-effective operations.
• Directs personnel decisions and performance evaluations for shop staff.
