Job summary

WM (Waste Management) seeks a Container Shop Supervisor to manage daily operations, including staffing, repairs, inventory, deliveries and distribution. You will ensure containers are in good repair and reflect the company image.

The role requires coordinating with other managers to run an efficient, cost-effective operation and to meet customer demand. With a high school diploma and 5 years of relevant experience, you will oversee personnel, participate in budgeting, and submit timely reports

I. Job Summary

Manages the day-to-day operations of the container shop including inventory, repairs, deliveries and distribution.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operation of the container shop, including staffing and scheduling.
• Ensures containers are in good repair in both structure and appearance to properly represent the company's image.
• Assures container supply meets customer demand.
• Complies with and ensures adherence to WM's Mission to Zero standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
• Effectively interacts and works with other managers and supervisors to ensure the most efficient, cost-effective operation of the container shop.
• Assists in budget process as required.
• Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the container shop(s) through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversees personnel needs for all container shop personnel including selecting, coaching, disciplining and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
• Updates and submits required reports in a timely manner.

IV. Physical Requirements

Combination: This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.

PAY: The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $96,250- $120,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate ' s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
