Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is seeking a hands-on technician to wash, repair, and paint containers, and manage container movement in the yard. You will perform axle repairs and monitor inventory while supporting loading/unloading of containers.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Willing to perform painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Ability to move containers and operate yard equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order or receives instructions from supervisor regarding minor painting and/or completing minor repairs on assigned containers.
• Performs minor container repairs, such as axle repair/replacement.
• Washes container interior or exteriors as needed.
• Moves containers in the yard.
• Loads and unloads both new and used containers from trucks.
• Performs minor painting duties.
• Responsible for monitoring the site's container inventory.
