Job summary

FreezPak Logistics is seeking a Container Lead to oversee the handling, storage, and transport of containers in our cold storage warehouse. You will coordinate container movements to optimize utilization, supervise lumpers, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of warehouse experience with container handling, familiarity with WMS, and strong communication skills. This role offers a competitive hourly pay and advancement opportunities as we grow.

About the Role

As our Container Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing the efficient handling, storage, and transportation of containers within the warehouse. This position is responsible for coordinating container movements to ensure timely delivery and optimal utilization of resources, directly impacting supply chain effectiveness. The Container Lead will oversee a team of lumpers who will load and unload containers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

What You Bring to the Pak

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse experience with container handling experience preferred
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of container handling equipment, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, manifests, and inventory records.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay Range: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour

This pay range represents the Company’s good-faith estimate of the starting hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. The actual rate will be determined based on a combination of factors including experience, qualifications, work location, and internal pay alignment, in accordance with applicable laws.
