Lighthouse Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of consumer loans, ensure proper documentation, and secure collateral for vehicle loans. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams, external vendors, and members to verify documents and meet regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes accuracy, speed, and compliance, with hybrid work in Dover, NH.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1-2 years banking/financial services experience.
• 2-4 years auditing/document review experience preferred.
• Active New Hampshire Notary Public/Commissioner of Deeds required (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with documentation requirements for securing collateral, especially for titled vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of consumer loans, including processing insurance requests, deferments, and lien/title releases.
• Resolve missing title discrepancies by coordinating with state agencies, financial institutions, dealerships, and members.
• Ensure timely member communication by sending required documents within regulatory time limits.
• Process inbound mail, log documents, and reconcile titles across states.
• Audit title documentation prior to submission to state agencies and resolve inaccuracies.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or internal channels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and maintain attendance.
