Landmark Credit Union in Wisconsin is seeking a Consumer Loan Documentation Specialist to support consumer loan applications across branch, call center, and digital channels. You will gather, prepare, and process all necessary documentation to ensure accuracy and underwriting compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of consumer lending experience.
• Knowledge of consumer loans and underwriting guidelines preferred.
• Explain credit bureau reports and liaise with members to satisfy stipulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and lending systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
• Must have or obtain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration.

Responsabilités

• Identify documentation requirements with underwriting and processing teams.
• Contact members to collect loan documents (pay stubs, W2, contracts).
• Verify application accuracy; input data into the lending system.
• Inform members of items needed for closing (title, seller requirements).
• Coordinate preparation of closing documents.
• Process multiple loan types and modifications with independent judgment.
• Cross-sell GAP, Mechanical Breakdown, Debt Protection and other opportunities.
• Monitor reports to ensure timely decisioning (≤30 days).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
