Job summary

Foothills Bank is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer in Washington state to gather, analyze, and interpret information for consumer loan applications. You will prepare loans for approval, counteroffers, and denials while ensuring compliance with loan policy and risk framework.

The role involves processing applications, ordering flood/title/hazard insurance, and generating reports. Strong analytical, customer service, and lending knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or equivalent experience in consumer or residential lending.
• 2-4 years previous lending experience.
• 2 years of experience in consumer lending focusing on policy and procedures recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process all new applications in a timely manner, including ordering and reviewing flood insurance, title insurance, hazard insurance, and preparing application for document preparation.
• Gather, analyze and interpret consumer loan applications and credit information for processing.
• Create monthly reports from automated consumer loan system and Excel.
• Order and review flood certifications, title policies and appraisal requests.
• Provide training assistance to bank personnel on Consumer Lending related issues.
• Prepare and track Adverse Action letters and follow-up on loan decisions.
